A Relief

Monday night brought a sense of relief. Sean was able to meet with the students and staff at TCU and tell them about our plans to resign from TCU May 2010 and enter the mission field. Sean has been anticipating this day for months and it had become a small source of stress as Monday night got closer. The reaction from the staff and students was varied and what was expected. It is hard because Sean has developed some strong relationships with some of the students and staff. However, like every step we have been through to this point, we were completely at peace. God is most definitely in control of our life and carrying us through this transition.

Our house is now 30 days from closing. We have submitted an application to lease a house just down the street from Ashton's school. We can actually see the school from the front yard. Hopefully things will work out for us to rent this home. If not, we know it is because God has a different plan and we will move on and continue to seek his will for our lives. The next month will be eventful, however, May 1 will be a wonderful day!!
