Chile: Day 5 - Sunday morning worship

God is Awesome! Today we attended the morning worship at Renacer Iglesia Biblico Bautista (New Life Bible Baptist Church). We did not understand much of the service, however, it was again nice to hear the church sing songs we knew in English and to hear Claudio preach after spending all week with him. Janelle and I were able to share our testimony with the church as part of his sermon. His sermon was titled "It's never to late to share your history" or story. Janelle did great and did not pass out. Once again Andrew interpreted for us. The people were all so nice and although we didn't completely understand each other all the time we were able to communicate some. They were excited to have us here and have been very gracious hosts!

We spent the afternoon seeing more of Santiago (yes, there is a lot of it to see). As I type this blog we are sitting at the home of Andrew's parents. They have prepared a big dinner for us. We feel like all we have done is eat. Our treadmill is going to get a workout next week. Tonight Sean will be playing in a soccer game with the men from church. Remember soccer is their hobby. Pray for Sean.

We are looking forward to being home. We miss our family and friends a bunch. We leave in about 24 hours.

  1. Your pictures bring back such awesome memories of Chile. Please tell Claudio and Theresa we are praying for them and their ministry. The kids are amazing and so loving. Janelle, I did not know you get stage fright? God will give you strength. This is just the beginning! Praying for ya'll.
