Africa??

God continues to show us that He is in control and we simply need to let Him guide our paths. Last fall as we began praying and looking at world maps Africa was not even on the radar. We had no sense of a calling to Africa. Through various events such as a group from our church going to Kenya and recently spending time with some children from Uganda that were visiting as part of a Children of the World Choir God is working in us. Sean does not show his emotions very much and now has a hard time looking at pictures from Africa and not getting tears in his eyes. Janelle is very moved by the things we have seen and heard from Africa. We now plan to visit Africa prior to making any final decisions and are praying that God will let us know if that is where we should be going next instead of the Philippines and Cambodia. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to narrow in on a place in this vast world.

This week we had the opportunity to meet with a Filipino missionary to Cambodia, Bro. Lomer Dela Cruz. He was in our services this weekend and Sean went to dinner with him last night with Greg and Kelly Wagner who have spent time with him in Cambodia on a previous mission trip. He was very informative regarding the field of Cambodia as well as the Philippines. We look forward to seeing him in Cambodia when we visit that field.

We are making a big step next week as we complete the sale of our house and move into a rental. It will be monumental but very refreshing and we continue to pray for God's affirmation and peace as we make each step. The Officers at Hallmark will be voting tonight regarding our timeline and future internship at the church. Sean will be giving a brief testimony and asking for their support in our journey to the field. Please pray for this meeting.

It is exciting to see God at the wheel in our life and we just pray that we can sit in the passenger seat with patience.
